Absolutely not! There's enough gun laws on the books already. The problem is that these laws affect only the legal gun owners out there. None of my hoodlum friends buy weapons at gun shops, where all these rules apply to law abiding folks & do nothing to prevent guns on the street. These laws need to be enforced with more than probation or a slap on the wrist. I will defend my right to carry weapons to the best of my abilities & I'm a combat vet so I do know how to use them .

It is against the second amendment to do so. I guess you are against guns because of gun related deaths. Do you want to ban smoking because of smoking related death? Do you want to ban alcohol because of drinking related deaths? How about the big killer in the US, cars. Do you want to ban cars.

No, I think it is our right to own them but I do think they must have restrictions to keep certain people away from them. I agree with a waiting period to keep people from purchasing them while angry. Also in criminal background checks. Who could it hurt to wait a few days?
