Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of his, I even paint a little because of him. I just thought this was funny. He'd laugh if he was still with us.

When I was a kid, my local PBS station used to run "Joy of Painting" with Bob, every Saturday afternoon before they would run "Creature Features" which is what I was sitting around waiting for. But over time, I grew to love the show and Bob's mannerisms when he painted. That kinda low whisper in his voice when he was talking was priceless..."oh yeah, just like that...look at that..." and the sheer joy he exuded for his work was infectious.

i used to skip school by feigning sickness in order to watch bob ross on PBS. he is one of the most special amazing people who have ever lived.
