If you continue to be happy the way you are, then it is a great potential threat to them !
They are scared that their effort to remain 'right' has gone a waste because, they find you are happy , though you did not undertake any trouble like them, to set right your life the way think it to be right !

I used to have that problem with my family - and what I did worked.
Ignore them when they say anything about your life or your decisions and remember if you keep doing it they will go away eventually.
What you MUST remember is not to respond to them at all, either negatively or positively. Don't share any of your private life with them and stick to topics that do not have anything to do with your life when you are conversing with them.
You must do this - starting now. Train them over time that you are not interested in any 'advice' regarding your own life. That is the only way. Be hard-nosed and don't panic - it works.
If necessary, stop socialising with those people. I moved half way across the world to get away from nosey-bossy family members. I never gave them my telephone number and only spoke to them when I wanted to. That trained them very quickly not to meddle in my life.
People who have not had the experience do not know what it's like - so don't take their advice or rise to their remarks. They will make you feel like you are being insensitive and rude - but you're not. You are just protecting your sanity and drawing a line of respect between yourself and pushy people.
Nothing wrong with that.
Good Luck!

Hopefully they mean well. Most times, this is the case. They think that since they are outside the situation, they have a clearer outlook.
I absolutely hate it when people do this to me. They underestimate my judgment.
Anybody who underestimates my judgment mustn't think very highly of me, I figure, and mustn't be a true friend.

Sometimes the people who like to tell people how to live do not have a life of their own or they are not happy so they don't want to be miserable alone...

I know what you mean.
Im not sure what way you are in and your happy with it, but i can imagine if your a prostitue or a drug adictive, i recon you would be happy how you are but your family, friends wouldnt be...
so it really depends a lot on what way you are in which you feel your happy with it..

They either:
-have too much time on their hands
-hate their life and envy yours
-experienced what you are experiencing and want to warn you about the possible outcome.
Either way, if you are an adult, it is your life and you should be/are free to live it the way you want. If you make mistakes ( we all do) you'll learn from them and live your own experiences.
Keep enjoying your life!

Everybody likes to boss around, if it is not possible outside they do it inside. Jokes aparts, they must be doing it for your own good, take it as their experience and faithfully follow it, you will never regret in life.
