It´s 183* (not-out) on 145 balls against Sri-Lanka, at Jaipur, on 31st of October 2005. Needed 298 to chase, India sent Dhoni at number three, after Tendulkar´s wicket. He batted throughout the innings and scored 183* on 145 balls. Sangakkara also scored 138* (not-out) on 147 deliveries (from Sri-Lanka).

Note: It´s also a record of "highest-individual-score" by a wicket-keeper. Breaking the record of 172 which was earlier held by Gilchrist (against Zimbabwe). Also: It was for the 1st time that both wicket-keepers batted throughout the innings. And, it was also for the first time that both wicket-keepers scored a hundred. Also most number of sixes by a wicket-keeper (10). Also most number of sixes by an a indian. It was also the record of scoring most number of runs in boundaries (which is now held by: Gibbs).

Rawal.
