Our guest list does not have room for all our cousins, but we did invite some. So what do we with those not invited? Send them an announcement or just ignore it until they ask? By the way, my side of the family is Italian, so family is a big deal.

Its not that we dont want them there, we cant afford to invite everyone. BIG family, and a lot of out of state people.

Send an annoucement. If they inquire just tell them your budget wouldn't allow inviting everyone you wanted to

Yeah my husbands family is Lebanese and it was a very big deal. We decided to only invite the cousins that were in our age group. The ones that weren't invited we sent little announcement cards regarding the dance and they came after the meal. Everyone seemed fine with that. You have to draw a line somewhere. Good luck.

Can you invite them to a reception? If not, then announcements are supposed to be nice, but they'll still feel a bit rejected if others have been invited to a celebration and they have not. You ought to plan a barbecue or something so that they'll feel included. You know how funny family can be!!

It is appropriate to send an announcement that the marriage took place. They have a new family member. They should know.
