Doctors don't have laughing gas in their offices...that's a dentist. You might find a doctor that would be willing to give you a pill to calm you a bit, IF you had someone with you to drive you home afterwards...since you would be sedated for a few hours. I think you would be hard pressed to find one that would knock you out altogether. You need to discuss your concerns with the doctor.
But if your fear is that incapacitating, you really need to do something about it. There will come a time when you need to have some sort of injection, IV, blood draw, whatever, and you could be putting your life at risk if you freak out making it hard for the staff to do whatever is necessary. Get counseling or try hypnotherapy to overcome your phobia.
