Fabulous read. But Alexander Dumas never wrote a book in his life. If you check out his life you will see that he owned the publishing house and had at least 30 indentured scribes working there. Since indentured sevants could not own anything Dumas got the credit. What he would do was come up with an idea and tell these scribes to write different chapters then every week or so he would go through what had been written and blend and edit until he had a complete book. Try reading more history it is both unbelieveable and facinating at some of the things that are taken for granted but are not as true as most people even college professors think.

I've read the counte of monte cristo, but I don't remember the author. The book that I read was about love between a man and a women, the man's best friend was jealous of it. The friend was rich, framed his friend and sent him to prison and thought that he died. He married the friends girl. The first man escaped prison, and came back to kill the 2nd man, only to find his girl married to him with a child. He tells the wife who he is, she swoons and tell him that the child is really his; he kills the ex-friend and everyone else lives happily ever after.
