The 4 issue mini series with Frank Miller. Today's writers characterize him as to cavalier in the use of his claws. Miller kept it simple wolverine didn't have to tell everyone he was the best at what he did . His opponents KNEW. Nowadays he gets slapped around by every b list villain and super hero in the marvel universe.

I'm definitely a Wolverine fan but I prefer the classics like Wolverine and Kitty Pride mini. Still 1 of the best ever!!!

I'm not liking either one right now. Origin is interesting. I like the idea that he has a son, but I think the art is not doing it for me. I like the artist, but not for this character. I think I like Wolverine's solo books better when other well known characters don't show up. I also prefer a good brawl to a heavy dialogue issue.
