Sadly the vast majority do take place in USA. Other countries strict gun laws no doubt help keep guns out of the hands of people in general. But the headlines below show that children murder is not only in the US.
The Beslan school hostage crisis (also referred to as the Beslan school siege or Beslan Massacre) began when armed Muslim Chechen terrorists[1] took more than 1200 school children and adults hostage on September 1, 2004, at School Number One (SNO) in the Russian town of Beslan in North Ossetia.
On the third day of the standoff, shooting broke out between the hostage-takers and Russian security forces. According to official data, 344 civilians were killed, 186 of them children,[2] and hundreds more wounded.
Honduras probes mass child killings....The murders of nearly 1,300 Honduran street children in the past four years are to be investigated by a special security force, the government has announced. The United Nations Human Rights Commission and other humanitarian groups have blamed police and soldiers for one in 10 of the killings.
Children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) have suffered systematic torture and cruelty during the country's five-year war, according to a new report by a consortium of NGOs

Unfortunately, things such as this happen all over the world. There was an incident at a University in Montreal, Canada some years back, and one in Scotland. The worst though would have to be the Beslan Massacre, with hundreds killed by Chechnyn rebels.
It's certainly tragic, and unfortunately it appears that the trend will continue.

Most other countries realize the danger of hand guns therefore they don't have them. America has not yet realized that hand guns are by far the leading cause of violent death and that violence begats violence.
As I sit here, with the news on in the background, I get angry at the senseless slaughter of children, or anyone for that matter, that could be so avoided with the simple ban of hand guns. There are so many compelling reasons to eliminate guns but the statistics are consistently ignored in favor of a stong pro-gun lobby.
Being an American can be very tiresome, as you continually watch people slaughtered.
Peace.

Google Iran.
Look at the killing in Iraq, Muslim on Muslim.
Look at Sudan, 400,000 killed, many children sold into slavery and killed, and another 2.4 MILLION displaced.
Look at some society's who kill daughters born to them.
If you want to condemn an atrocity, why don't you condemn Abortion, look at all of those innocent children killed?
The killing of the Amish children is terrible as well.
Wherever people gather there will be some bad among them.
Peace!

It has happened in other countries, but it's rare.
In recent years there have been school shootings in Russia, China and Germany for example. I have never heard of it happening more often in the same country than in the U.S. though, it sounds like this is a regular thing over there, while in most other countries it is a very rare event.

i think of two issues upload to it. a million. each and every physique right here in this united states of america is now suggested thinking they seem to be a sufferer and each physique else is out to get them. It takes from fact that they are actually not a sufferer yet generally in simple terms lazy and/or afraid. This effects interior the melancholy and anger and the sensation that bc they are the sufferer, they are justified in those acts. 2. The media is disgraceful how they immortalize those killers. And destiny killers understand this. in the journey that your depressing or mentally unwell and approximately to circulate out, why not with a bang and be remembered?? they are going out as well-liked as any movie star the place as earlier they have been in all likelihood finished unknowns of their lives.

Yes. Often on a much worse scale, they just don't advertise, and the media here won't carry the stories often.
Read the Bill Dedman on MSNBC today. Very educational treatment of a very heartbreaking subject.

Well, If you ever wanted a cocktail for insanity you have it here in the US.
We have more cults, more porn, more drugs - more psychotic "entertainment" - a merry-go-round legal system - no standard of ethics - and now an attack on the one thing that can help to hold a person together - family.
Is it any wonder?

It happened in England, Germany, Russia and probably many more unreported locations.
American society isn't really sick, just the liberalistic attitude that condones erratic behavior that leads to these horrific cowardly crimes.

yeah, it happens in other countries. you dont hear about it too much because of the news sources in the usa, are very bias. they dont usually report about other countries unless it has a direct effect on the usa. recently in india, there was an attack, and there have been other attacks on kids, in places like ireland, russia, and germany, but not like it is in the usa. i think there is more in the states. sick society we live in, and there are a lot of predators out there! god help us all!
