For those women who have tried the contraceptive injection and found that it works for them...?

Did you find you had long periods when you first started taking it and how long was it before they went away?

i've been on for nearly 11 weeks now, should I be patient because they're light and wait till they go because I've heard they get lighter with every injection. Or should I stop having it?

I'm on the injection i didnt bleed for long coz i went to the doc n he gave me the pill n the following day the bleeding stopped.
Bleeding is not what u should be worrying about - the injection weakens ur bones im already feeling it n im only 21 but ive been using it for 3 years now - im not getting another injection
