Definitely, if you are interested in it. It's not for everyone.
Set ground rules and make sure that you know exactly what you and the other person involved are willing to accept. Make sure you have a safe word that you both recognise, so that everything will stop instantly. Try to not get too carried away in the moment.
It's easy to get lost in S and M and get caught up in what you are doing...that's when it can get dangerous.

If you have the feeling that either side is in you, sure go for it ! Do research here in the net, find some S&M and BDSM sites and see what is ivolved and maybe it is for you. It is a true lifestyle if you really do get into it to the point that you want it in your life all the time. It is a fantastic side of me !

You have to have some kind of yearning to do that type of thing to ask, so I say go ahead. You'll never know otherwise. And no, it isn't sick or ungodly. It's just adults having fun. In fact I might try it myself one day.
