I have found that my relationship has started to change. My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over a year and a half. I feel like we aren't as close as we once were. He feels the same and we are both sad about it. We want to be together and we love each other so much. Is this just a phase?

The only consistant thing about our relationship is that it is always changing. My wife and I have grown as people and as a couple. We went through my illness and bouts of depression, my wife's depression following my illness, watching my mother and her father die while my wife was pregnant with our son. We've been broke and on welfare. We've had times of pure hatred for one another. When we worked our way throught all those things we were a stronger couple and better people.

my husband and i have been married for 3 years and have been threw his cancer, my heart problems and a court battle with my ex husband. we have had times where we both just wanted to give up nad throw in the towel on our relionship but with everything that we have been threw our love for each other was stronger than the problems we faced. ther were times we didnt like each other very much but we still loved each other the same and are still together. if yall love each other than i say try to get threw this and stay together it is probley just a phase that you have to work threw. life and love is not easy and doesnt get handed to you on a silver platter you have to work at it if you want to keep it.

hmm, I would say very common. There is a very common phrase describing it. It says that "your honeymoon is over". The newness and lust of your relationship is over.
Its not a bad thing, its just now is where your "real" love for each other will shine through. Go with it,, everything will be fine if you still truly love one another.
