I used to work for Lancome and have tried all brands of mascara! I love Hypnose by lancome for thickening, lengthening. And is about 21.00. But Max factor 2000 calories is used by a lot of the beauty advisors that i worked with. I have tried it and love it!To maximize your mascara abilities go by a lash primer. It goes on white and conditions your lashes so they don't break off or become brittle and also makes your mascara go on smoother and produces a plumper effect!

One of the best mascara's on the market is sadly discontinued (but you may be able to still find it online) it was from French line Stephane Marais. Other great drugstore mascara's are L'Oreal Volumunous (can't be beat for the price!).
A great new one is from Mally Roncal's line Mally beauty, which has a lash finder brush on one end that also applies product, and then a lash maximizer end on the other that just makes the lashes even more full and lush! It's available on QVC and their website.

Of all the mascaras I've tried, which in a ton, my personal favorite is L'Oreal Full Definition Voluminous Waterproof mascara. It costs about $7, and it stays on all day. It doesn't smudge, smear, or run on me. And it washes off with soap and water, no extra makeup remover necessary.

Estee Lauder More than Mascara Moisture Binding formula. The moisturizing formula goes on so smooth, and it's the only kind I've never had problems with clumping during application. No flaking. Full size retails for $28, e-bay is cheaper

Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara. It is $15.00- but doesn't clump or dry out and it has great results. Mary Kay also backs its products 100% so if you get it and don't like it then you can return it and you can also try before you buy just by calling up a consultant. Now you can't do that in a store. Check it out- they sell 3 different kinds $10-$15.

The best Mascara would have to be an Great Lash by Mabeline, the waterproof one. I have tried all kinds and this one seems to work the best. Just be sure to buy a remover because it is not coming off without one!
