HI , No the programs are not that hard. If you get a good school ,like I did, Edgar Cayce School of Massotherapy in Virginia Beach, the Anatomy and Physiology class is a little hard. I used flash cards to study with and did just fine. I love doing Massage. Yes, I make 50 bucks an hour. The easiest and best way is to gain clients thru people you know and take your table to their homes to massage them. Its called "Out-calls". That way you don't have any overhead. My advice is to visit the school you are thinking about going to . Talk to as many people as possible before signing anything. Make sure the school is accredited. After I graduated I also got my National Certicfication and am registered with the Nursing Board of Virginia. You will also need a license from your town to work. I think learning massage was the best thing I ever did, besides having my son. My School in my opinion is thee BEST. Make sure the program is at least 500 hours minimum. That is what is required. Best of luck to you. I am open to email. ps , my schools phone number is....... 757 437 7202.
