Your question is somewhat offensive. Black women come in many different complexions- black skin being the rarity.

For the record, I've only seen goth white women wearing black makeup. Most black women have better taste than to be seen like that, except for on Halloween.

There are so many choices for black women now! Depending on your budget, you can try L'oreal's HIP line which has a great range of foundations, lip colors and blushers and bronzers. Bobbi Brown and MAC for department store has a great range of colors and great product selection with very good quality. Prescriptives is another department store line with an incredible color selection.

You can also try ethnic lines like Iman and Real Cosmetics, which have really flattering colors and specialize in women of color.

You need to go to a department store. There they will have makeup designed especially for black women. It looks beautiful.

I'm a caramel skinned Black women and I use Avon lip and eye liners. I use Maybelline mascara, Bare Escentuals mineral foundations, and Avon lipglosses and smashbox primers. I have oily skin so I need makeup that is waterproof, but I choose things that I personally like, its not based on race or price actually. i find what I like and stick with it.

we wear makeup that matches our skin tone. most of our foundations have a carmel tone, not black. lol i luv the mac line of makeup, which is worn by women of all ethnic back grounds. we wear the same color eye shawdows and lipsticks as yall, because of our range in complexion. the only thing black in my make up case, is my eye liner and brow pencil.lol

Black women would wear makeup that is flattering to them. Black eyeshadow may be an option, but so is purple, brown, green etc.

Don't be silly.

Since Black women are not truly black, neither is their makeup.
Most women wear blush and eye color over their natural skin tone, but for women who want to use a foundation color all over their skin, there are darker color foundations for darker color women. No foundation is black, however.

talk to a mary kay consultant or someone in a cosmetics department at a store. they should be able to get you a foundation in your color. as far as eyeshadows and things go, lighter colors actually look better on darker women, i think. pick up an allure magazine. it usually has really good make up tips.
