I agree with it myself. The reason is some States already are set up with Lottery's and Horse racing tracks and such. On-Line gambling is a way to avoid paying the IRS taxes, with State taxes that removes income from the States your residing in. Some of those gambling sites aren't inside of America to begin with, and that is removing funds from within the United States itself. A crime that should be addressed. This all falls under the RICO statue with organized crime.

I don't identify with any party at all.I unfortunately vote for the individual thinking there is a chance they might be telling the truth(come on,it's happened a few times).I think some sort of restraint should be put on on line gambling. Some people are very sick and cannot control themselves.I know people who have plunged themselves into nearly irreversible debt by gambling(not all of it legal I might add).Even gambling for fun without monetary reward gets some of these people started again.I will however agree that other things on the plate like false advertising from supplement companies and similar subjects might have taken precedence over this.Whenever I gamble it's in a casino.I don't gamble on line.Everyone's crying about their freedom being stripped away.WAAAA.Try living in some other country you spoiled brats.Sorry, that's all I have to say.

I am democrat, kind of. I am more liberal than democrats, so I might fall more with Green, but i am a registered democrat just because green will never win because its not as big as the democratic party.

Anyways, I think it is good and bad.

Bad because it is peoples life, let them do what they want, its ridiculous how people have been interferring so much by saying what i can do with my body, who i can marry, and now what i can do in the comfort in my own home. I think part of the reason they are doing this is because at casinos when you use the slot machines, alot of it goes to the government and supports schools and such within the state. Online it does not. But, its peoples money, let them do what they want.

But, at the same time, online gambling has no way of checking ID, and is one less thing someone can steal your identity for, and if it is more accessable at home, people are more apted to have a gambling addiction when they might not have gotten one before.

Further restrictions on our Freedoms. They can't ban gambling passe, so what do they do? They stop us using our credit/debit cards and therefore making it impossible for someone like me who travel frequently from playing poker online.

Great example of how these NEOCONS hate freedom.. Also notice how they introduce the bill, through some terrorist legislation and money laundering.

America needs to wake up to the fact that these people are dangerous to our well-being.

Seems like there could be some kind of organised crime interests here to stop gambling revenues disappearing across the pond.

It's stupid. Half the states have lotteries and encourage gambling. There are far more important issues to deal with than stopping people from playing poker online.

Just another freedom that our government is stealing from us.
