Honesty and open communication are always the best way to handle any situation. You are not specific about your reason but if you know you truly love someone tell them. They can help you figure things out from there but you have to give them a place to start.

I think she deserves an explanation. If you haven't already told her how u feel, then you need to. Don't wait until she starts wondering why you won't propose. Its going to hurt either way, but it will hurt her more if more time goes by.
Who knows maybe she'll understand and will still want to stay together even if you can't propose

well, then you can just sit back and move on. wish her the best and all the happiness in the world and if she finds someone else, just be happy for her, you can't do anything about it except be her friend. but never settle, you'll never be happy.

Well i think you better tell her how you feel before you lose her.because i almost left my husband because it took him awhile to propose.Mabey if you explain your issue she might understand and not want to get married anyway's.but whatever the case she'll know you love her.
