Hi,
I want genuine answer, no jokes please. I'm a PG Engineer, working in Bangalore in a reputed organization. I have married and hava a male son. Myself and and my wife have misunderstanding results in quarrels. She said I'm a mental disorder person. She took me to a hospital in Bangalore, Doctor examined and said, i do not have any problem. Then without my knowledge she went to another doctor who is her distance relative, practicing in chennai, got some harmful , side-effect rich tablets for me, which i captured from her bag oneday. She had mixed that tablets oneday in water and gave to me. I had consumed this tablet and had breathing problem, swelling problem..etc.
After which i have suspected, and stoopped eating in home.
Can i take action against the doctor, who prescribed this tablet, without examining me ? how can i take the action ?

not sure in your country how the law works but in uk,,you have to be seen by a doctor and even then if they thought you had a mental problem that could be helped with drugs, you would have to have various tests done through a consultant,,anti psychotics can,,in healthy people have drastic effects,,i would suggest reporting the doctor but i would also report your wife,,what if you were to have died? this drug has to be suitable for you and without even meeting you ,,well,,,,,,,,,,,seek professional advice mate,,your wife needs help,,see your own doctor and if you need treatment, get it yourself,,,this is highly dangerous.

Well ur life is in danger. Dont take any drug from ur wife nd if she is mixing in water or food u can file for a divorce, or can even do police complain. If so much of distrust is there u cant stay together. Doctor should not precribe any medicine, but than d culprit is ur wife. She must hve said all wrong there. Seek a lawyers help immediately. All d best

I am not sure, but I think that you have to go to the administrative body that oversees doctors. At that point it would be a he said, she said thing. I am not sure what the laws are in Bangalore, but in any case, a doctor should not, ethically, morally, or otherwise prescribe medication to a patient prior to examining, for the exact reason you stated, the allergic reaction. I am going to do more research to see if I can find out anything else.

My friend you are focusing on the wrong person. Its your wife the one responsible for all the harm you have gone through. She is basically sneaking drugs in your food and drinks and I am assuming she lied to her doctor by pretending she is the one suffering from these psychological problems so she can get the prescription.
Not only is there mistrust in your marriage but serious life threatening situations.
Take drastic measures and go to the police. Your life is in danger.

in that case I wud suggest you that first you shud sue your wife. In a relationship misunderstandings are usual that does not mean that she had to take you to a mental doctor......... thats something very stupid you know that you are fine so why do you listen to your wifes words. Now since you have found the tablets in her bag you wud surely fin the prescription slip also in her bag with that as a proof you can file a case on that doctor. speak to your wife first of all get things sorted out .....

if you can't PROVE it, you don't have a chance in hell to do anything about it. she's trying to kill you so she doesn't have to put up with you any more.
go to a shrink and see if you really do have problems. a medical doctor doesn't have the degree to do anything about your brain and the way it works.
