Well, during your period it has been said it is alittle safer to have sex because the risk of pregnancy is alittle lower. But, it still can happen very easily especially if he is ejaculating inside of you. So, pretty much just because you didnt get pregnant once, doesnt mean it wont happen next time, period or not. I understand that it is annoying to use condoms, especially with a significant other, so I would try using birth control or something if you are truely worried about getting preggers.

What do you mean when you type "..however my partner sometimes keep going after my ovulation is over" DO you mean he doesn't pull out sometimes AFTER your PERIOD is over. Ovulation is not when you are bleeding. Ovulation is when the egg is released which typically happens on day 14 of a 28 day cycle.

It sounds to me like you and your boyfriend need a serious lesson in fertility and how a woman's body works. Lean about it please! You take a class before you drive a car :-) You CAN get pregnant having sex at the last day of your period. If you ovulate earlier than the 'typical' woman like I do then YES YES YES. I usually ovulate on day 10 or 11. If you have sex on day 7 then that is perfect timing to get pregnant.

And the "it never happened before so it won't happen now" type of argument is really very silly, no, it is more than silly it is out right stupid. Think about that one. "I jumped off the 2nd story building but I didn't get hurt so I can do it again and still won't get hurt right??" See what I am trying to say?

Having sex at the PERFECT TIME to get pregnant does not guarantee a pregnancy. You just got lucky that it didn't result in one. Don't make the same mistake again though.

Now let me reassure you. If you do typically have a 27 day cycle (that is from the first day of one period to the first day of the next) then you most likely ovulate on day 13. If you have sex on day 7 then you are probably safe to not get pregnant. Your are most likely fertile on days 8-13 with the bigger chance on days 10-13. But the thing is...you can not tell FOR SURE that you are going to ovulate on day 13. You could ovulate early. And if you happen to ovulate one day early then you are in serious trouble for pregnancy.

Pregnancy is wonderful and babies are a blessing! Just make sure you are ready for them.

When will women understand that if a male puts it in.... of course there is a bloody good chance...... and if you were taking the pill you would have nothing to worry about...... if you were taking the pill and stop taking it.... it could happen as soon as you forget a few days or it could take a year.. it depends on how fertile both male sperm and female eggs. YOU ATTEND A UNIVERSITY??

it is possible, but not likely. however, sperm can stay inside of you for days...it takes up to 3 days to reach the fallopian tubes to fertilize an egg...ovulation cannot be predicted accurately by your periods...women can get pregnant on their periods, and after...and of course, before. not a lecture...just advice...to avoid pregnancy, use a condom or birth control...i know condoms are a hassle...and they don't feel as good...and it can ruin the moment to stop and put one on. i had an iud (intrauterine device) implanted after my first was born...it's great...they put it in the opening of your cervix during one doctors visit and it stays put and prevents pregnancy for five years as long as it's still in you. and it's easy to take out when you want to have kids.

anytime sperm is introduced into your vagina, there is the possibility of pregnancy. no matter that it didnt' happen before, it can happen! do it often enough & it will happen!! lol sperm are tricky little dudes & can often live long hours after leaving their host. it takes many screws to build a crib, but only one screw to fill it!!! (not lecturing, leavening with humor) Good luck - be careful. Altho what you're doing is about as reliable as pulling out.

its kind of hard to schedule it unless you've gone to the dr. and they've given you a pattern to follow. if you really want to get pregnant why not just have fun working on a baby instead of being so clinical about it. of course there is the chance that you could be pregnant. good luck.

Yes, you're pregnant. Sorry but its time to face the fact. Leave Uni and become a pram-pusher.

unprotected sex there's always a possiblity. usually the egg is flushed out with the beginning of the cycle, so that slims your chances but there's always a possibility
