I'd give it a 3 at most.
First, Kim is more of a girl's name in the US, too. I knew a guy with that name when I was a kid. He took a lot of grief for it. If you name your baby boy "Kim", he'll be teased about it for a long time, and he'll resent it.
Second, the whole "Kim Josiah B. Salinas" doesn't roll out off the tongue, does it? And it's a whole lotta name to hang on a little baby. At least you're not using made-up names, or cutesie spellings though.
Try something with 2 syllables for the first name - "Jimmy Salinas", or "Edgar Salinas".

I actually dont really like the Kim part but if his first name was Josiah I would say that it's a really good strong name. But thats just my opinion.

I don't think Kim is a good name for a boy. Josiah is cool though.

Kim is mostly a girls name in the UK, although I know one man called Kim. It's a bit of a mouthful!

0 Have you thought about what school peers will CALL HIM at age 9yrs+?....... Kids can be the most cruelest of people when it comes to their peers a name and initials.. remember if you really like the name you could try for a girl in a few years..
