I like to collect bottle caps and matchbooks from places I go to.

I've started becoming overwhelmed with my thimble collection. So I started collecting Postcards.
When I go somewhere I write the date...who I went with and memories of the trip.
That way I can just file them in a scrapbook and have all my memories handy. PLUS they don't take up much room. I have years and years (6 books) in the space of six books.
They are always a great conversation piece if I open a book and lay it on my coffee table.

I collect all sizes of cars & trucks from 1/64th to 1/18 scale. I have 2 rooms with the walls covered and have started in my garage. I have built some of my own and have a 1/24th scale drilling diorama that was displayed at the New Mexico state fair this year. Also I built a 1/12 scale rig. check out my blog.

I collect books... sci/fi mostly with lots of fantasy, some westerns, and some of the old Pulps (Tarzan, Doc Savage, The Shadow) tons of great reading material!

As a KISS fan, I collect anything that has to do with KISS. It can be KISS cards, posters, dolls,pinball machines, comic books etc..
I also collect match boxes from all over the world.

Paperweights. They come in such gorgeous designs and can be prohibitively expensive but it is possible to find beautiful,artist-made weights at flea markets and garage sales. Even cheap ones can be beautiful. I found some really pretty one on Ebay cheap.

I don't know if I would consider it a hobby, but I collect music and movies, my two favorite things. I'm buried in cds and dvds.
