Depends how pure a model of capitalism you want. If you want society governed by a market ecconomy where the rich are rewarded and the poor ignored, then the conservatives have the best record. By selling off council house stock, privatising indrustries so that they are more concerned with profit than service and cutting funding for health, education and social services they will give ayou a purer brand of capitalism than labour. Labour is more interested in those that fall through the gaps.

New Labour or Old Labour are a joke and the only party capable of governing Britain is the Tory party. When Blair leaves they will revert back to their distasteful Socialist ways with the smarm king Brown at the helm.
Do yourselves a favour and reinstate the Tories so that Taxes can revert to a reasonable level and the economy and law and order can be controlled properly.

I think labour (new) are diong a pretty good job of balancing capitalism and protecting those that are not fortunate enough to fully benefit from our growing economy.

They have also reformed the house of lords, banned fox hunting and are genuinely doing the sorts of things a tory government, rooted in upper class establishment, wouldn't even dream of.
