No. Become Bahai. They are the most open minded, non-hypocritical and tolerant of all other religions, than any other religion I know of.

At least, so it would seem in my research of various religions.
Here are a list of their tenants:
* Individual search for truth
* There is but one God
* Equality of men and women
* Universal quality education for all
* Elimination of prejudice of all kinds
* Religion is the foundation of Love and Unity
* Harmony between science and religion
* There is a common foundation of all religions
* Equality and brotherhood amoung mankind
* The need for a universal worldwide auxillary language
* Elimination of poverty
* Universal peace upheld by a world arbitrating body
* Protection of Cultural diversity
* Mankind must accept God's Bounty

But, IMHO, any spiritual journey you take, whether belonging to a specific religion or not, is still your individual journey. "Belonging" to a church does not automatically make you a spiritual person or in touch with God.

Many people on the outside of any religion find fault with it because of the actions of those who claim to be of that religion. Whether Muslim, Christian, Jewish, ...etc, an individual can have the wrong idea about their faith, and present it in the wrong light.

To be totally honest with you, I found Native American Indian spirituality to be one of the most pure forms of spirituality. Simple truths and strong emphasis on the individual relation with the Creator.

You can still claim to be a Christian and find the spiritual truths that would give you a strong spiritual sense. At the moment, I claim adherance to no religion. I don't need to. I know my place and my relation with my higher power. Someday I might call myself a Buddhist, a Muslim, a Christian, a Jew, a Bahai, (definately not a Jehovah or Scientoligist ;).

Seek first enlightenment by walking a spiritual path.
So many things will become clear.
But never judge a religion or God by the actions of other people. That would be narrow minded and adverse to enlightenment.

I wish you well on your journey.

The term "Christian" is a very simplistic way of describing a follower of Christ. There are several denominations of Christianity. Not sure which one you fall into.

As to whether your should stay a Christian or not depends on what the impact of following Christ has been and what your future out look is.

Here's the deal, dude. If you want to change religion that's fine, but if you're following somebody, then there's no point. Unless your wife or your mother or your kids are another religion, then that's possible to go for. But follow these: If you are willing to be:

- Catholic: That means you do the same amount of praying as Christians, you just go to a different church.
- Buddhist: You have to use a lot of insence and perfumy items.
- Muslim: You need to be PUASA ( you need to fast or not eat for the Rahmadan Month) And pray a lot.
-Jewish: ;;; Not so many Left ....
- Hindu: A lot of praying in more unusual ways and they depend on a different God.

I hope this is helpful to YOU!

I am a Catholic, and I don't really understand how people cannot like our faith. We pretty much teach that you should be a good person, no matter what. However, poeple seem to think we are evil by teaching our children morals, which I don't really understand.

However, I do not know what type of Christian you are, but I am sure you probably love Jesus. In that case, you should join the church He founded and eat His bread every week. Try the Catholic church, I am sure you will like it.

That is your decision, no one else can really answer that. In the end, it is your faith that decides that for you. I, personally, disagree with the christian's way of life, and they tend to be hypocritical and judgemental, but at the same time, that is my views, my beliefs, and everyone has their own. If I was you and you were doubting your beliefs, I would start searching around finding other religions and reading up on them, and finding what is best for you.

Are things looking hopeless? Do you feel pretty desperate? Is there a problem weighing on your mind that you just can't seem to get a hold of?

No one can guarantee us a stress-free, worry-free life. Life can be messy sometimes. It is during such times that we need to lean on our Heavenly Father and ask Him for the strength to get through it all and for the solutions to our problems. It's all right, because God knows when we need His help.

On the other hand, is it a matter of questioning your faith? Don't feel like you're all alone; short periods of doubting, especially during tough times, can happen.

In addition, Christians can go through times when they don't feel God's presence working in their lives. This is the time to use our faith to rely on God. It's also a time which God uses to increase our faith and make it stronger.

God wants our faith. He wants us to believe in Him and His Son in an active way. He doesn't want us to go by our feelings; feelings can change and they're not always right. Although logical arguments and reasoning in favor of God's existence are good things, He doesn't want us to rely on those either. He wants us to believe in and rely on Him!

In addition, God wants to make our faith stronger for another reason. That's because believing in Jesus, and acting on that belief, requires faith and faith alone. Logic and the smartest reasoning cannot deduce or make known the actions of Jesus Christ dying for us on that cross. You see, Nature and the grandeur of His creation reveal the existence of God, but is silent on the story, the actions, and the sacrifice of Christ. One can only learn of Jesus by receiving the message from another person, the Bible, or both. So it takes faith to believe in Jesus and what He did for us. And God wants to make our faith stronger for that very reason; because He wants our faith and belief in Jesus to not waver, even in the most difficult and trying of times.

So, if you truly believe in your heart that Jesus did what He did, and have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then just meditate on that fact and what Jesus actually did for YOU! I think, then, that you'll have the answer to your own question.

God Bless.

If you were really a Christian in your heart, you'd not need to ask such a question.
