I've got a problem with organizing my thoughts 'on paper'.
Whenever I start writing about something I do have a lot of ideas about it but somehow I have not been able to portray my thoughts in my words.
I have lot of things to say about certaom topics, I do think to write about them, but when I starts writing my thoughts are all scattered and I end up with nothing.

Can you help me...

Great question. I have same problem. my son was diagnosed with adhd, and the symptoms for me were the same! It tends to run in families too. medication has helped me a lot. BUT if you dont' have it or don't want doctor to check for it, here's an idea to help organize thoughts:
1. get a palm pilot. I got help from a therapist specializing in adhd. He suggested it, It helped me organize a lot. We'd meet weekly to see how I could best use the palm pilot, he always had great suggestions. you can type out stuf on your larger computer, then make catagories, and shift what catagories all your thoughts go into. all with the push of a button. you can carry the palm around with you and add thoughts as you go. you can get a fairly inexpensive one with not a lot of features...
2. In elementary school they use graphic organizers for writing. This could help you too. think of a sheet of paper with a lot of thought bubbles on it, large ones, by catagory. I googled 'graphic organizer' for you, and here is a site with free graphic organizers. Although they are for school ages, they work for anyone, you should be able to find something applicable.

3. I love the other person's idea of color coding, if you have the time to do it. think of it as brain training, it's a start.
You don't say if you are trying to organize 'to do lists' or writing for work, or a school paper. If you are at school, a counselor can help you or point you in the direction to get help. Otherwise, Mental health services don't just cover depressed people, people with marriage problems, etc. They can help with issues like this.
Good luck, I'm off to make my lists for the day!

Step 1 - Write a list of all your random thoughts in no particular order.

Step 2 - Take 4 or 5 different coloured highlighters. Choose a category title to be represented by each colour. Write down at the top of your list which category is defined by which colour.

Step 3 - Highlight each thought with the colour of the category it should belong to.

Step 4 - Once you have colour coded all of your thoughts / ideas, you need to record them as separate lists. Scrap your first list now that you have separated your thoughts into categories.

Step 5 - Organize each of your new lists into order of importance / relevance.

Hope that helps!

relax and slow down a bit..
i think u are way too busy in your day to have not enough time to organise your thoughts..
try out having a diary or a pocket diary and carry it around. Everytime you have an idea, note it down in your pocket diary

and if you've got lots to say..you may as well record it or write it all out in your bedtime diary(or whatever you want to call it)
really-it does help when u have everything off your head..you can organize after you have proofread it.

or if you really really want to clear your head..try hitching a ride in the abyss and let out the wildest scream you can ever manage..
i hope it helps ^ ^

Try meditation - this can help to clear your thoughts and organise them in a suitable order. Just let yourself sit and allow the thoughts to flow.

Alternatively, trying brain storming. Put a word on paper and stem small ideas and words from it. You can organise it later when you have gotten it all out!

ADHD

This isnt something just children suffer from. Many adults suffer from ADHD. Talk to your family doctor. You dont always have to go through a counseling center. A regular doctor can help.

define your purpose, or you finally end up with aimless thoughts. Take notes for a particular purpose first... then plan ... You did not point out if it is for small corporation or what...
