Phoned me at home at 9:00pm and made me come into work straight away to set up a remote link to another network, so that a visiting boss from another site could check his email that very same evening instead of simply waiting until I came into work in the morning and asking me to sort it out then.
My boss seems to be happy to spend his own evenings and weekends working, which is fine by me, but when he gets an I.T. problem he seems to think I'll be happy to drop whatever I'm doing with my free time to come and fix it.

My boss is very keen on the "chain of command", so if her boss wants some figures she passes the request on to me.
I then work up the numbers, present them to her boss who says "That's not what I want, this is what I want." And I do the whole bloody thing again because she is paranoid about him communicating directly & cutting her out !
This has happened 5 or 6 times now...its beginning to wear me out.

At 5:29 on a Friday afternoon "remembered" a really urgent presentation that was needed for 9:00 Monday morning and then made me do it thus depriving me of the weekend. Wanker !
Luckily I've quit and now my boss just buys me coffee and lets me get on with things :)

I was trying to learn everything my boss knew so I could get the same job she had at a different company, so I had to put up w/alot of you-know-what while I was learning from her. She kept bringing her family's mending to me and dumping it on my desk. I would mend it and bring it back. When I learned everything I needed and got the job I wanted, she had just brought the pants that belonged to her "evening suit" with the seat ripped out. I knew she was wearing them to a special country club even for her husband's office party, so I sewed the tiniest seam you have ever seen - just enough so she could get in and out of the car and maybe get up once to dance, then the back side rip out on her.
Then I packed my desk and left!

My boss is always calling me into his office for something trivial, he makes it sound as if the world is coming to an end if it does'nt get done in the next nano second. Usually I have to type minutes of meetings, which isn't even remotely close to my job description.

My old boss where I used to work once asked me to walk a plastic fried egg on a piece of string up and down the corridoor. Needless to say I refused.

Asked me to fix his computer ASAP then won't let me get to it while because he wants to sit down in his office to make a phone call on his mobile phone.
Another "boss" constantly reminds me to do the next cleaning job I'm going to do, while I'm trying to do the current job.
