I defiantly love getting my period, I like that I get horny, my sense of smell becomes stronger and my breasts go firm and increase by a cup size, I also think it is really fascinating. I never disliked it but I used to find it inconvenient because my flow is very heavy, then I switched over to a menstrual cup rather than tampons and pads so it wasn't an issue any more – cups only have to be emptied every 12 hours, rather than every 3-4 hours and unlike tampons they are healthy.
I think most women who dislike their periods are either brainwashed by menstrual taboos that are largely kept going by commercial menstrual product manufacturers and women telling girls that periods are negative. Either that or they don't know how to care for their bodies so to prevent things like menstrual cramps or to use menstrual options that prevent it being an 'inconvenience'. It's sort of sad, but understandable, periods are only as good or as bad as a woman makes them, if she has a negative attitude, shuts herself down from learning from or about her period then she will find she has a negative experience with it.
I find by large the more a woman is aware of her body the more she enjoys her period.

The PMS (Pre-Menstrual Syndrome) that makes us so cranky and irritable is what I hate the most. I hate that people hate how I act like - the bitchiest person in the face of the planet. More than PMS, I actually have a worse-off chemical imbalanced when I have my period that makes me manic depressive and this for a long time actually impeded my way of living that I stopped functioning.
But, through all these, I still want to recieve this monthly visitor... why? Because of this monthly visitor I'm here and because of this monthly visitor... I'll have kids of my own. :D
I don't like the immediate effects but I know I'd love the aftermath.

The only time I actually like it is when it's late and finally arrives and I'm terrified that somehow I've got pregnant despite all the precautions.
Of course having it arriving regularly means that my body is healthy, and that I'm a fertile woman, so that's good, but it's not easy to think that - I really wish that we could be fertile normal women without having to have the pain, the mess, the mood swings, sarcastic comments from men, and the general lack of control.

would you like it if you felt a wetness coming from your member for about 5 days every month? You have to worry that you dont leak any redness onto your pants making you paranoid, you have to worry about horrible stomach pains for the first few days, you have to worry about not fitting into any nice looking pants unless you plan on buying them a size bigger because you bloat and retain lots of water...I have always wished for 1 day all men could experience a menstrual cycle or a pregnancy. Periods are a pain in the butt...i have never known any woman to enjoy having their period.

Kind of....
When it's here its a nightmare but when it's late I start to get excited that I'm pregnant as I'm currently trying to conceive. Last month I was over a week late, I was soooooo excited, but did a test which was negative. That meant I didn't know why I was late. When it finally started I was a tad dissapointed cause it meant I definately wasn't pregnant but pleased because I was getting worried about where it was.
So yes, and no.

It makes me feel unclean
It hurts like b*uggery
I turn into the wicked witch of the north, south, east AND west
It means I cant fit into my clothes

Firstly it's called a period lol & secondly, yes I'm generally happy to get it because it means I'm not pregnant but in terms of actually *liking* having it, no it's a hassle. There's definately a design flaw there lol

hmmmmmm - odd question, ive got hormonal problems and their was actually a few months without my period - and I felt SO WEIRD, I didnt feel normal at all- I missed it! Despite me having really bad periods and sometimes being in bed with it. Remeber - we need the oestrogen, once that goes - we get facial hair and beards!
