Its up to you not your daughter. It is you who has to make that decision. Having another child is great if you want another child. But you shouldnt be doing it for your daughter only.
You didnt say how old you are. Do you feel too old? Anywhere over 45 is probably starting to get too old. Can still be possible though if you really want. Just need to have a good Doctor who can advise you on any problems you may have because of your age.
Good luck!

strange, kind of ambiguous question, first get the obvious (hopefully) misinterpretation out of the way, if your daughter herself is 11yo and wants ANOTHER baby?!?!?! never mind, i won't even answer, that CAN'T be what you meant, right?
so if your daughter is trying to convince you to have a baby so she has a sister/brother and you are feeling too old, and the fact that you posted the question means you are thinking about it yourself.... it depends how old you are, and what YOU want. because ultimately, even if your daughter is the greatest helper in the world, it will be your baby, your responsibility to feed and to love and to bring up. if you are 25 or 45 years old and you want this it is for you to decide, and in another seven years when your 11 yo might move out, you will have a seven year old child with another 11years to go before that one is an adult. those are the things to think about.
while it's nice to give our children what they ask for and what they want, obviously a new baby in the house is a big decision and it's YOURS to make. good luck with whatever you decide.

My sister in law desperately wants another child but won't have one because her seven year old says she doesn't want her to. I don't understand why parents let the children decide these things.. I am one of seven children- I didn't get to pick how many siblings I got and when I was a kid I would have gladly given a few away- now that we're adults we're best friends- kids have to learn to adjust to whatever their parents decide. If you'll let her make the decision to have or not have another baby for you- what's next? Her telling you to make french fries and ice cream for supper 3 nights a week? Put your foot down, woman.

Talk with your daughter, find out WHY she wants a baby brother/sister. (there's always an explanation)
If she feels like taking care of someone... a dog might do the trick :) as a "easier" solution.
If she wants a sibbling because her friends have some... then try and invite a relative/friend with a young child to stay with you a couple of days - and let her take care of the baby... That might discourage her.
Or let her babysit - if she's responsible - and earn some money too.
If none of the above works, then... it's up to you, isn't it?

I gather that it's you she wants to have another baby..If not then why'd you let you daughter have one in the first place if she's 11....!? Anyway going back to my first sentence, she's the child and you're the adult not the toerh way round. You cannot let her boss you around into doing things, set down some discipline and maybe buy her a pet or sometihng that will get her occupied.

I'm going to assume you mean she wants you to have another baby, a sister or bother for her. You don't give your age so I'm not sure how we are to answer.
I will point out that if you do she will be leaving home well before any new child would be grown. So you need to ask yourself if you want to raise another child.
Don't make such an important decision based on what an 11yr old wants.

If you think you're to old...and don't want the responsibilty why have another child. Get your daughter a dog (puppy) this will take the attention off of you having another baby.

According to your situation it seems your daughter is very lonely. Why dont you get her busy and give her all the love she needs which might discourage her from thinking as she is at the moment. If that doesnt work then the best pace to visit is a family planning center.Best of luck.

Eleven year olds aren't even responsible or knowing enough to even influence your decision to buy a pet -- let alone, a child! Ignore her wishes. Or have her volunteer to help with babies in a church nursery, etc..

Unless your 11 year old is willing to go through childbirth, midnight feedings, temper tantrums by herself tell her to wait until she married and have her own children.
