Pick someone in about the third row and give the presentation to them. Don't worry about the other 199 people. As well as helping with stage fright, this technique helps you not to mumble.

Make it clear at the beginning that you will answer questions at the end.

Don't try to make any jokes. Unless you are a comedian they always fall flat.

Dont pace up and down or shuffle about. Stand with your feet under your shoulders and lock your knees. You have to try to project an image of control and confidence even if you don't feel it.

Remember that you are the expert and you know the most about your chosen subject.

Enjoy it! Sounds hard but if you tell yourself that you will enjoy it, you probably will and you will be more confident.

Before you step out there,,, let your arms go limp, and shake them around like theyre rubber.... so your fingers all jiggle about. this relieves muscle tension and stress. Breathe using your stomach not your chest, a few big deep breaths in then slowly out.

Do not stare at any stagelights.

Hold something in one hand, it stops you feeling 'naked'

If you have an empty stage take an item out with you and put it on the flor, it give you a central point so you dont wander all over the place.

SMILE !!!!!!!

A bit of deep breathing before you stand in front of them, hold your head up, make eye contact with someone half way down the group, speak loudly and accurately, don't slouch and just enjoy the moment, you can do it, be confident and good luck.

run
run, REALLY FAST!!!
Or just focus on one person, and if ur stood up, keep moving, try not to stay in one place for too long, it'll help get rid of some of ur nerves, and make whatever ur talkin about seem more animated. Try to use a lil bit of measured humour to lighten the tension, maybe something quick and simple like..'u guys made me rush my lunch..i fancied an italian, but he/she isnt talking to me any more' but dont try too hard, make it off the cuff. AND BE CONFIDENT!!!and if u cant be confident, pretend u can.
