The Vedic and Hematic concept regarding contrasts (male & female, day & night, pleasure & pain etc) is that these exist only on the physical plane and on the psychological levels that deal with the physical plane. In reality, there are no such contrasts.

There is no man or woman. In fact, in some species, both the genders are found in the same body. And in some other species, one has the ability to change one's sex, willingly or when required. Any way, at higher plane, it does not matter.

Similarly there is no day and night. As when it is day in USA, it may be afternoon in India. You can never surely say that it's daytime, now. This won't be true for the entire Earth, and it certainly is not true if you consider the entire Universe. Hence, saying that it is daytime is only partial, local truth, rather than the whole truth.

Similarly there is no pleasure and pain. It is just perception of your mind.

Self in neither male nor female. Also, it can't be considered to be an inbetween gender. ( This can be a medical condition, though)

Self is the soul - atman. Fire cannot burn it, water cannot wet it, .... read the Bhagavad Gita to know more.
It is the tiny flame that makes the dead body different from the living - all other parts being same. Just as we cast old clothes to wear new ones, so too The atman casts off old bodies to enter new one. Our aim shd be to end the cycle of birth and death and be one with the Supreme Paramatama.

Self got quality of males, female or confused gender states. Non-self doesn't have any gender. Self is a mindset and non-self is a non-mindset.

Neither . Self is a form that is neither masculine nor feminine in it's nominal form. It becomes masculine or feminine in its phenomenal form. That is where your truth lies, in the phenomenal plane, not the nominal plane where fact lies.
