Pointless characters in Eastenders?

How do you have the characters of SJ and Sid written out of a soap. They are pointless and i don't care about them .Does anyone else feel the same way?

Totally pointless unless its just to make Minty look like an a** again. So obvious they are taking him for a ride. Eastenders is really dull and I don't watch it like I did when the Mitchell Brothers featured heavily. How they won Best Soap Award is beyond me considering its audience has dropped so badly.

I don't even know who Sid is! SJ has been brought into the soap as Mintys love interest because his character is supposedly popular with the audience and what else could they do with his character.

Eastenders used to be fab but now I hardly ever watch it. I don't think it's entirely the writers fault. Actors/actresses seem to use the show as a platform and move on when they have found fame.

Bring back all the Slaters even the one that played Lynn who used to turn up for the show drunk. I never noticed, who cares! They were gutsy east end characters that the show doesn't have anymore. I hate to say it, but the Mitchells need to be on the screen some more too.

I think the whole world would be a better place without soaps depressing everyone and bringing them down, if there was something a little more cheery on telly we'd all be that bit more happier in the day. Agree with the billy mitchell guy being a tosser i've met him too, he's got terminal short man syndrome. The most useless character in eastenders has got to be jim and patrick, sure they used to be funny but they've been using the same (old people getting upto mischief) jokes for years now.

Bring back the Hollyoaks women from back in the day, they're all a little ropey on there now

Eastenders is the most boring soap in the world. Why are all English soaps set in dirty grey miserable housing with miserable people who are incapable of getting a job that is beyond 5 metres from their front door. And why is it whenever a woman in east enders needs a new dress they buy it from that slapper in the market? They live in London FFS - Do the tubes not go to the best shopping streets in the world???? They should take a leaf out of Emerdales book and fly a plane into the square and kill the lot of them and start again.......

I can tell you that SJ and Sid are being written out of the soap after their secret is revealed!!(they are only connected by the fact they are from Oz, nothing else)

Any good soap must contain a few peripheral characters for emergency story lines which end in violent death or injury. They come into play when the ratings start to go down.

i imagine claires exaclty an same because the nature that gemma performed in hollyoaks would were only very nearly as good to only move her from one cleansing soap to the different as eastenders took the conception from hollyoaks contained in the first position . plus i imagine shes manipulitive scheming wench whos only after adult adult males for his or her funds no longer their seems first ian now bradley who next phil mitchell .
