It took me 28 hours, but I've heard people finishing it in as little as 20 hours.

it really depend if you just do the hot spots or go through and do every side quest. I'm about half way through and have about 14 hours so far. After i finish it once ill go back and clock it. I managed to finish FFX in 19 hours

It takes roughly 25-30 hours to complete because it is a long and sometimes frustrating.

I'm sorry, I know this was asked a whopping 8 years ago!!!! but I got the HD version and was looking to see how long it takes to beat myself.... the reason I'm typing this is because I had to LAUGH at dragonknightofblood's answer. 2hrs after school for 1 week??? That's 10 hours, even if you add on an extra hour each day that's only 15 hours.... but the funniest part is that he claims that is with ALL sidequests..... lol... you can't even beat the story mode in 10 hours

It depends if you do all the side-quests. I think it took me about 30 hours in all.

well if your talking about the one with all the girls. my nephew beat it in about 30 or so hours.

It took me like 2hrs every day after school for a week......... and that is with ALL the side quests.......
