Ther will be some fees in Germany starting next year but it´s definitely not comparable to the fees in the US, here in Hessen (Frankfurt) its 500 Euro I think.

Gotta be the same in whole Europe I think...

Yes, it is true. If you speak German reasonably well, and if you have translations of your highschool records, and the right marks for your field of study, you can go and get a university degree in Germany free of charge. There is some talk about the introduction of tuition fees, but it's just talk for now, and nobody wants it. If it does get introduced, the fees will be ridiculously low in comparison to elsewhere. Studying in Germany will automatically lead to a master's degree. All students finish with a thesis.
And yes, a lot of other countries do the same:
Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, and Portugal. If you're into Eastern Europe, the same goes for the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and the Baltics.
You'll find that instruction is probably best in Switzerland, Austria, The Netherlands, and Sweden. Sweden also has the added advantage of being largely bi-lingual in English and Swedish, so moving there is no big deal, and the language is far easier to learn than German. Studying in Germany is also good, of course, but there are better places and there are easier places, as outlined above.
