I don't really care about Japanese comics but I love Japan. I've lived here in Japan for 8 years now and I wish I never had to leave.

Ok,I start liking Japanese mangas and anime as young as 8?think it was in the sailor moon era(though we think it is crappy now but it is nice and there are many cartoons that imitate their style).
It then sparked off my interest for Japanese language since listening to the dubbed is horrible and sometimes the subbed doesn't accurately reflect what the characters are saying. Hence, I will try to take japanese language in my next semester.hopefully,i can get it.
Because of the language,it sparked off my interest to explore Japan.I read up on it and I must say it has some festivals that I really like e.g,the doll festival(do not know the exact name)which happened in spring.then there is the cherry blossoms. Also,Japan is one place where the latest fashion is at in Asia. It is a shopping paradise though the stuff there are so ex but definitely worth it.
My love for Japan and its language started from my love for its animation and mangas. Though there are people who do not like the character's huge eyes,i personally think it's pretty adorable for some. There are many beautifully drawn mangas and here,I hope that the the japanese mangas creators will continue to draw more nice mangas for anime and manga lovers like me.=)

i don't like japan.. and their comics suck as much as their anime.. have you notice their story lines, it's like listening to a seven yearold kid telling a story.. or maybe it's better to listen to that seven year old kid.what's with all the long boring conversation before, while and at the end of each battle. i think japanese don't care much about the story, they just want their characters to fight. and why would someone create an anime about cooking or bayblading.. ahh.. full of crop.. anyway it's my own opinion.
