There are many companies who will pay, but the problem is that you will sign away all your rights for any further ideas you might have of another comic book. Most dont pay much anyway, best to have your ideas printed by yourself, get a small reputable printer and then print a few copies and have them copyrighted.

Or else put them all together, get copyright first and then sell the copyright to that book only.

Yeah, Marvel just happens to let any idiot with a supposedly good comic idea in the front door to pitch to the creative director. Keep it underground where it belongs.
