I am 19 weeks pregnant, I usually I feel frequent 'flutter' like movements from the baby but for the past week I have felt nothing. The doc checked for the heartbeat at my last appt a week ago and the hearbeat was fine.

I think thats normal. I would go three days or so without feeling anything. I'm 25 weeks now and feel the baby everyday. My doctor said to call him if there is decreased movement after 26 weeks.

Do not worry....as long as the heart rate is fine and the doctors don't seem worried everything is ok. Some babies are just more active than others. With my first child I felt the flutters at first, and as the baby grew I felt him kick one time. After that I never felt any real movement, but his heart rate was always good. Now I have a teenager, who is very happy and healthy, and who can actually sit in once place longer than anyone I know......lol. It will be fine. Just continue doing what is healthy for both you and your baby.

I'm 19 weeks too, and haven't really felt my baby move (for sure that it was him and not gas lol) But I'm overwieght so I'm told that's normal. For your case, I was reading that around this time, the baby starts to develop regular sleeping and waking periods, so thier pattern of movement often changes. What may be happinging is just that your baby is more awake or active when you are asleep or too busy to notice, and he may be sleeping or resting when you are waiting for him to be moving. Don't worry, as long as your doctor's visits are turning out fine, then everything is probably ok. Congrats!

not interior the least. Our cats have been allowed to completely work together with all of our toddlers whilst we've been there to oversee and their rooms continually had inner show doorways to maintain the cats out on the different time. Our cats have been sparkling and healthful and so have been our young toddlers. mothers and fathers at the instant are some distance too invaluable with and protective of their young ones - it rather isn't any ask your self a great style of youngsters have hypersensitive reactions and sensitivities!. toddlers (even small toddlers) would desire to be uncovered to all way of stories and impacts (and germs) in the event that they are to advance as much as be nicely rounded and healthful. I doubt if there have been any fit and happier young ones in Australia or the united states of a (the place some have been raised) and that i doubt if there are from now on valuable adjusted adults than they have grown into the two. !

At this stage of your pregnancy, it's anyones guess whether you have actually been feeling flutters or not. If you are concerned, stop in at the doctors and ask them to check the heartbeat. If it really concerns you, call the local hospital and ask if someone there could check you with the monitor. If the midwives or nurses are not too busy, they usually don't mind setting your mind at ease.

I wouldn't worry. Baby has probably turned inward and the movements will be less noticeable. Eating or drinking something that is a bit sweet tends to get them bouncing around.

your placenta may be in a different place. i was 22 weeks before i felt anything, and still didn't feel some of the smaller movements for the rest of my pregnancy. your uterus itself has no nerve endings, so the movements that you feel are felt in the abdominal wall outside the uterus. if the placenta is placed so that the more sensitive parts of the abdominal wall are cushioned from kicks and other movements, it may be longer before you feel anything.

It's likely baby has moved and so in a position where you cannot feel it.
But why worry?
Make an appointment and put your mind at rest.
Midwife will understand.

best wishes
