On behalf of my bickering kids....

Of the last two series of Doctor Who, which has been the scariest baddie EXCLUDING the Daleks and the Cybermen (that'd be too easy...!) The older on thinks the Krillitanes were the scariest, youngest thinks that the Sycorax were. I'm sure there have been worse baddies.
Help me settle this, they're driving me nuts!!!

What were the manevolent Santa's called in the Chrimbo special?. They were a bit nasty.

If they keep arguing tell them the Doctor will decide who is the scariest foe and send them to get them in their sleep.

I dont have kids, me......

'The Wire' was pretty freaky in "Idiot's Lantern" with all the taking away peoples faces.

'The Abzorbaloff' from "Love & Monsters" was pretty fantastic especially considering it was designed by a kid.

Other contenders: The werewolf at torchwood estate and Lucas Finch and his cronies in "School Reunion", especially with that stuff they put on the chips, GROSS!

I would say either the 'Gelph' or the little boy in the gas mask from the empty child have been the scariest though.

Rose was pretty scary herself twice: When here body was taken over by Cassandra in "New Earth", and when she took on the Eye of the Tardis/Time vortex in "The Parting of Ways" (think about it, she killed all the Daleks (or so we thought) and the Doctor!)

The kid with the gas mask in 'The Empty child'

My Kids loved / hated that episode. I think they liked being terrified, especially on DVD when the sound effects have not been cut and Richard Wilsons face cracks when he changes.

I thought 'The Wire' was pretty cool. What can be scarier than seeing Maureen Lipman back on the TV.

Hmmm...I don't know what they were called, but it was in an episode with Peter Davidson as the doctor. They were in some underground caves/passageways and people kept dissappearing all over the place...the only trace they would find of them was a pool of bile and some skin.

That frightened me to death as a kid!!

EDIT: in the "new" series its got to be that kid with the gas mask that keeps saying "mummy, are you my mummy?" *shudder*

The kid in the gas mask was very creepy but other than that I can't really think of anything that scary from either the old or new series.
