Puissance does not rhyme with nuisance. Puissance is pronounced Pwi-saanse, while nuisance is pronounced New-sense. Do you see any similarities in the stressed an subsequent syllables? The same applies to Renaissance and all the rest. The closest is transluscence, because one of its pronounciations is trans-Lew-sense.
