I bought the Sims 2 in Thai, and I want to install it into English. Is there some kind of patch I can download or something I can do to install it in Thai? Or if I install the university expansion pack, will it play the whole game in English? Please help as I am desperate!!!!!!!

There is no options that say where I can choose the language, and I tried installing it and uninstalling it, but it's still in Thai!

This requires editing your registry but it's very simple, and you'll have the language you choose!
Of course, the first thing you should do is BACKUP the registry and save/export it on your desktop before changing it and below are the instructions to tweak the registry to the language you want. There are pictures, so you have to go to the link:

There should be a language option when you first install it. Try uninstalling the game from your pc and then re-install. One of the first questions asked is the language preference. Hope this helps!

If its the same as the what is on sale in the UK then when you install the game it will ask you as to which language you would like. Just select English or what ever language you would like the game to be in.

You should get a patch for it, it allways works.

If you have the university pack in english then you could try that too.

usually the sims 2 ask laguage that you want to use, like english, france or Spain. if common use not work ( reinstall ) you could be buy pirate CD`s. try to complain to Constumer Service of MAXIS or place where you bought that CD`s

oh.....I'm trying to get the game started...
after I installed it it's not workin...when I insert the CD(number1)it says:"please inseert the right CD-ROM"
I really want to play...
