If love is really true there should not be any divorce/break ups between the two persons..... No matter for what REASON. Isnt the word LUST more appropriate in such cases? because i belive LOVE can never break...and everythig can be forgiven.....its only Lust that does break

Neither love or lust, compatibility is the right word

It's not the lack of love that breaks up relationships. Relationships are more based on good communication, and the ability to respect your partner. Where there is a lot of control issues as to who does what, and who pays for what, sometimes the amount of love cannot overcome the petty squabbles. And when people get so frustrated with each other, they separate. My ex and I broke up even though I still loved her at the time. But we've both moved on and we're doing better.

True love can NEVER be broken! The kind of love that lasts a life time will change with the years, will adapt to the stresses and problems, will rise above the pettiness and will prevail. Love is to be shared, treasured, enjoyed and worked at with the same energy we put into so many trivial things. Lust is nice if it goes along with the love but it does not last on it's own. Just like we were made in our creator's image, we should honor that kind of love in our hearts!

I think there are gray areas. I know a couple who got divorced, cause once married they found they drive each other up the walls.
They are still best friends, and both are remarried and get along fine with each others new partners.
The feel the love for each other that friends do, and respect each other for that.
Although this isn't always the case.
Maybe in most cases people get married for lust, but sometimes there are exceptions.

I believe that love can be broken, and this is why Id like to think that 'true' love is when you love so much you maintain, mend, and improve on it constantly to keep it going. THATS 'true' love.
