I absolutely HATE those stupid Halifax ads and the ones for Sheila's Wheels are the pits.
All those accident Helpline ads stink, and how many more Insurance company ads are going to save us money.
I think the best ones come on around Xmas for example the ad for salmon where the bear kicks the stuffing out of the bloke trying to steal the salmon.
On the whole I think ads should come on at the end of programmes so we have time to cook something or do other things as they ruin anything you get into.

BEST:
Mid-90s bacardi Breezer adverts with the witty American voice-overs, and the tune was lovely too.
Also like the advert where the car turns into a robot and dances on the roof with the Shanghai skyline in the background.
Early-80s Cafe Hag adverts (whatever happened to that brand of coffee?)
Coca Cola adverts around Christmas.
WORST:
Zafira advert with the two twin boys with stick on northern accents.
Car advert where Bev and Kev pull up at the traffic lights.
Anything by Lombard Direct.

Does anyone remember that old advert (I think it might have been for fireplaces) where the bulldog comes in and kisses the cat. Then the mouse comes in and the cat kisses the mouse. I always thought that was clever how they did that. Then I heard they never used trick photography and they got through about ten white mice before the cat stopped eating them!
As for the worst? That one with a cartoon telephone asking do we want a low cost general loan? No thank you talking phone, I don't.

I love the Sheila’s Wheels advert where the man’s in a dress but I hate the double glazing advert you know you buy one you get one free he shouts too it gets on my nerves as I have to turn the television down when he’s on.

I have to disagree as the Norton finance advert is the worse. Mind you I am sick of hearing Diamond car insurance and that terrible song.

I so agree with you. I hate the Harvey's furniture ads, that woman is so smug! And the annoying yoghurt ads that go "Oh Danone" at the end, grrrrrrrrrr!!! They are not on anymore but the Boddington's ads were class and the foster's ad were they are all leaning backwards is very funny!!
That Barry Scott/Cillit Bang bloke has the biggest gob on TV, it's awful! I also hate the Oust ads, "I can't stand bad odours!" does the stupid woman think the rest of us like them???

Worst = Cillit Bang, closely followed by weetabix challenge (how stupid do they think the Joe Public are?)
Best = Beyonce singing about shampoo (pity its not on anymore)

Don't watch the adverts - they're bad for your health. All advertising affects you in some way - generaly resulting in you being poorer and that much less happy about who you are right now. If you think you're not affected then the ad company has done their job.

I'd hate that one with red indians attacking tha modern train, except I think it might be designed to annoy (and therefore be remembered), and I refuse to fall into their trap.
But now I'm giving them added publicity. There is no escape.

The Sheila's wheels, dear GOD that song is annoying!! And does anyone notice the guy from Neighbours is in it? In the crowd, singing along! The Maltesters one is class and I also love the Pedigree ads, mainly cause I love all dogs!. All ads for couches, sales, B&Q just get sick of them!
