That's like asking is this existence evil. Books are nothing but pulped trees and ink. The symbols in them can be interpreted by readers into thoughts and ideas, concepts and visions...but to place a value of good or evil on them is misplaced. The good or evil lies within the writer or the reader.

It only depends upon the book you read. if is their some sort of magic that is evil or have something to do with sorcery. 4 example a book titled white magic is still evil because the author is trying to make you believe that is good.

No. A book can't be evil. It may be written by an evil person, or written about evil things, but a book can not be intrinsically evil. It's just an innocent book! Censorship is evil! No book burnings please!!!

Well, books *can* be evil... did you ever see that movie "Army of Darkness" with Bruce Campbell? In it, he nearly had his forearm bitten off by that evil book, the 'Necronomicon'.
