Yes, it is indeed time to get rid of useless politicians and remove the benefits that they get for doing absolutely nothing of value 99% of the time they spend in office...

Though I think 3 terms in the house 2 in the senate is better... if these people were serious about getting things done they can do them in 2-3 terms. In addition, once the 2/3 terms are finished... they should be banned from running again (no non-consecutive terms).

You are an idealist, which is not a bad thing at all! But remember that a whole army of lawyers makes an excellent living from disputing facts.
So - even if these measures were passed - a great many people would find loopholes and go on the way they are wont to.
Did I look badly at your text or did you not mention anything like Foley's folly?

We should eliminate elections and draft representatives the same way we do jurors.

And, we should eliminate Washington, D.C. as the seat of government.

The government is "we, the people," and "we, the people" do not live in Washington, D.C. If our representatives need to meet face to face, they can rent a convention hall like anyone else.

But, that should not be necessary any more than once a year, if that.

Representatives should work in their own districts, they don't need offices in Washington, D.C.

Yep, i like it. to complete your list you also need to remove corporate finance from funding election campaigns. Also summary castration for war mongering hypocrites. Ha Ha . Only kidding, worth a thought or two though.

i truthfully have faith that as a Tea occasion member. you basically stated that in case you labored for the IRS you will abuse that is skill because of the fact you do unlike a collection. it is against the regulation. needless to say a clever IRS worker should not be investigating those communities as even the IRS stated it became into incorrect and apologized for it and Obama himself feigned outrage.

what you outlined would crash the current govt ... it wouldnt even function... we would have to simultaneously have plans to replace certain aspects of our economic system with other workable non-corrupt systems to avoid total economic collapse if you pulled all the bad apples out at once.

this could apply to UK politics as well, too much privilage and power to those who forget 1) who voted for them 2) who are paying their wages (us via tax) we too have had investigations into funding and gifts ... that to me means people in power accepting bribes, that in turn means dishonesty and we are supposed to trust them with our best intersts..
your proposal sounds fair..
