do you believe dragons existed, and if so under what evidence?

i don't no if they did or not ,but don't you think that its a bit strange that all cultures have dragons ,the vikings carved dragons onto their ships George and the dragon from England /France and the Chinese have it seems always believed in them and all this at a time when world communication was non existent,so why do they all have dragons?

I believe they did exist and where hunted till they no longer existed. The proof to this is in other cultures. There is really no other creature that shows up in so many different areas of the world and in so many different forms of folktales as the dragon. I also believe that there may be evidence, hard scientific proof, if we would only look in the right places.

I don't no it's good to be true.........because the whole world is not mad!!!!!Romania is said to be most associated with dragon & it's proven.But i don't think any evidence has been found about dragons in the world.

I'd say a good chance, for the same basic reason Mitchell pointed out--stories are so widespread through disparate cultures. I'd imagine they were hunted into extinction, since most cultures' dragon stories end in killing the suckers.

You may laugh but certain form of dragons are still in existence.
Take a trip to your local library and read all about it for yourself.

Back in the days when men were only one inch tall, lizards were called dragons. ;-)

No dragons ever existed, unless you count the "soaring" --- they never really "flew" --- dinosaurs, like the pterodactyls.
