For me... I think because they have nothing to do with their lives. every time i think about it.. i remember my friends that play that. to be honest they ARE nerds and dweebs....

I do play Neopets. Only because I have nothing better to do. And I do not play the childish games or chat for no reason on the boards. I take this seriously. I am the owner of a guild, and I buy items for cheaper and sell them for more. I also invest in stocks. It is actually a lot like the real world. It is a great way for kids to learn about buying and selling, helping people, taking care of pets, and investing stocks. Oh, and its a great way for people to learn about saving money and spending money!!

I'd recommend Nintendogs over Neopets anyday.
Neopets is horrible, and is filled with children that think they're all that.

As someone who has to clean up after a semi-incontinent cat at least twice a day, I can suggest at least one reason to like neopets...

you dont know that it doesn't do anything for their lives maby it makes them feel better. sure there something that u do that ppl might consider lame. so dont judege man.
