Hi, Native Houstonian here

When I'm at home, I go to:
Goode Company Barbecue
5109 Kirby Dr
713-522-2530
Daily 11am-10pm

There are some good Mexican Restaurants, I can't rember the names. Ask around, Houstonians are friendly, they will be glad to tell your their favorite restaurants.

Enjoy Space City USA
Y'all have a good time, ya hear!

In Texas, I go Tex-Mex, and try as many "strange" restaurants as I can while I'm there. I've never found a bad one, though I'm very careful to have water and tortilla ready when I try a small bite of something new.

Find any of the Pappadeaux restuarants. Oh, yeah. You may have to head out towards Gavelston, but it's so worth the drive.
