Base on my personal experience, I have not had any issue from my Fujistsu laptop nor from my Apple. I have had more issues with Windows than anything else.

HP by far.
Really there are only 3 or 4 companies that make notebooks. They make them under contract for HP, Dell, Panasonic, Sony etc.

I would say Apple (Macbook or Macbook pro) by miles
However, if you want to stay on Windows/PC based systems, I would suggest HP or Sony

That would be IBM
Considering there:
1.) Good Technical Support
2.) Service Center
3.) Service Parts Availability ( easy to find ) ( easy to order )
