Being eco firendly means being a "friend of the ecology". In other words, it refers to being "environmentally friendly" or "being friendly to the environment". This refers to goods or services considered to inflict little harm on the environment.
For example, you can be eco friendly by recycling, or by being "green". You can help the environment by conserving water, planting trees, using compost and not using pesticides etc.

trying to be but doesn't always happen. Use Eco friendly light bulbs. Try not to have electrical things on stand by (sometimes forget). The car is bad try to use public transport but public transport doesn't always go to where I want at the right time. Try to recycle but not all the wrappers are recyclable. Ask questions of MP but don't always get a reasonable reply, they reply along party lines and not to the question asked. Trying hard but not always successfully.

To the post ahead of mine,
Eco friendly is about what we do to save our ecosystem, like recycling protesting for the use of animals for experiment, not buying SUV's. That sort of thing.
