If you are asking whether or not a girl can get pregnant just by "playing around" and no intercourse, then the answer is YES. If she is at her fertile point and the sperm manages to reach the ovum through the vaginal opening and past the cervix through the uterus and into the fallopian tube (which is where most fertilization occurs), she could become pregnant. Highly unlikely without some outside force involved such as IVF, but possible.

No - all that is necessary is that a sperm encounters (and fertilises) an ovum and for that ovum to then be implanted in a suitable environment for its growth and development.

Sex is the usual way, however.

There is IVF and GIFT and any number of ways to do this.

Not really, today science gives you other options.

A company from Miami is working on a pegnancy pill as we write, and in a couple of years you'll just have to press your remote-control/mouse in order to get pregnant.

Try kissing.
Hold on, if you're a man nothing will work. Pregnancy only works for women. Where you from anyway?

Well, you need to have sperm so normally there needs to be some kind of sex act. It can happen without penetration if semen gets anywhere near the vagina. You can also have artificial insemination but I don't think that's what you meant.

Not at all - u can have test-tube babies too.
In this case, the egg is fertilised with the sperm in a test-tube and then it is transplanted into the womb of a woman and she becomes preggy.

no. there are other methods. invitro-fertilization does not require sex. but i think you mean something else. a woman can become pregnant if semen enters her vagina, makes its way up her uterus and fertilizes the egg. if, for example, you ejaculated and somehow she got some in her, she could become pregnant even if you did not have intercourse.
