Are you completely brainless? Hooliganism caused 39 deaths in Brussels in 1985 and the expulsion of English clubs from Europe.

Hooliganism caused a community in south-east London to get smashed up in Britain's worst ever football riot.

Hooliganism caused fences to be put up at English grounds and nearly killed off the family feel at clubs.

And you want to bring this back?

Go and live in Turkey if that's what you want. They ban the Brits when our lot get out of hand, but the Turkish fans were never punished for killing two Leeds fans, nor for the intimidation tactics used in numerous other encounters.

Over here, we've moved on from behaving like neanderthals on PCP and actually watch the football. It's a great game - you should try it some time.

If you want to riot, gang fight etc. either join the army, or find some place to do it that is not going to affect decent fans of the beautiful game.

How would you like it if you were trying to have a good fight, but couldn't get a molotov cocktail lit because some spoilsport kept knocking the bottles over by kicking footballs at them? Well that's how we feel when the football gets spolied by apemen ripping up the stadium and chucking eachother through windows etc.

No dont bring it back. At the end of the day it is ONLY a GAME. Children go to football matches and it is not nice for them to see or evenget caught up in a fight. When England are playing and you see a fight, it puts a downer on English sport and on the country itself. Look at all the deaths that has occoured because of fights about sport. Instead of fighting against it why not go have another match with the ppl who support the other side and have a laff.

Yes, but have a seperate stadium or "fighting ground" for the violent folk to do battle in, and puit it on TV as the "3rd half".
this will bring a lot of advantages.:-

1. People who don´t want a fight won´t get drawn into it, deported or sent to jail for just being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

2. The violent people can get rid of steam in a safe area, so they´ll be happy.

3. It´d be a laugh to watch them batter each other on TV.

No. It is a disgrace to the football world when people feel the need to fight over a game......yes, a game. I am a football fan, but lets be realistic. Too many people have been hurt or killed by these so called fans. I am disgusted that you would even consider bringing it back. Shame on you.

I'd like to take my 5 year old to games but it's because of people like you that I don't!
Abusive people, on the pitch antics and violence errupting before and after games. Make s great television but it's not the enviroment I wish to subject my little one to.
Go join the UFC if that's what your into, and if you ever loose a loved one to heartless thugs then maybe you'll re-evaluate your opinions eh?

hooligans are still there at every club up & down the country and always will be. police intellegence, cctv etc make it difficult for rival fans to clash at matches, but it still occurs in city centres, train stations...
