I have been a good mayor, honest, my taxes are low, and i fund all my departments efficiciently, and i have no water or power shortages, yet SIMS are leaving like crazy. Do i need to improve Aura somehow? What do i need to do? I need a serious answer please.

Check your RCI ratios. If they're out of balance, there's a good chance they'll flee like there's no tomorrow. You always want a level of consistant, but balanced, growth. Too much of one thing, and not enough of another is disasterous (consider : too much housing, not enough industry... no jobs, meaning your commercial suffers as well. Not enough commercial, they have to travel out of town just to shop, which is also unpleasant. Not enough housing, and no one produces anything, meaning there's nothing to buy).
